Ambassador Program

Would you like to be part of the WordTrails Team?

Be part of getting more and better conversations sparked wherever you are.

In families, creative teams, communities, at the national political level and internationally.

We welcome you with open arms!

The WordTrails Ambassador Program is designed to support, encourage people who believe in WordTrails and want to use it in their own practices and while helping get it established in the world.

We offer a lot of support ont his page, and offer Zoom calls in which Ambassadors can come together, share wins, excitement, tips and learnings, and build energy around what they are seeing and experiencing…all while helping WordTrails gain traction.

As a WordTrails Ambassador you can purchase the game at cost, which is $100 for this, the Founder’s Edition.

We will provide training, support, love, encouragement and HUGE gratitude for your enthusiasm.

If you want to join at this level, please be in touch with me, Scout, directly, through the “Contact” form, and we will work out the details.

Support materials for introducing others to WordTrails

How do I invite people to play, help orient them and get things started?

It can be challenging to find the words to use, and the reasons to offer, when inviting people to play WordTrails.

There are things to say to specific audiences.

To mediators, you might speak of bringing down the temperature in the room.
To those who want to support a friend or loved one who has suffered a great loss, you might speak of WordTrails helping you feel into what it is to be a really good friend, able to sit with them in a beautiful sort of silence.
For young parents, regular play, even ten or fifteen minutes in an evening, is a way to stay synched up, not lose touch with one another with all the demands there are on your time and energy.
For young people stepping in to more freedom and responsibility it’s a way for them and their parents to come together, to respect, share, and support the changing conditions for all.

There are ways to operate, as a guide who will be shifting to participant.

Things to consider in general messaging.

And much more.

In the following documents you will find further support and background information.

The NeuroScience behind WordTrails

This is an explanation of, and compilation of the science behind what is happening in the brain when people play WordTrails.

“What makes this experience truly transformative is the brain state it creates: a dynamic interplay of calm alertness, creative openness, and emotional safety. During play, the nervous system shifts toward parasympathetic regulation, while the brain enters a theta-dominant state—similar to deep meditation or creative flow. This state is optimal for memory reconsolidation, emotional processing, and new neural pathway formation. In short, WordTrails isn’t just a game; it’s a structured doorway into the neurobiology of healing and insight.

WordTrails unites all three modes—storytelling, trinket-based anchoring, and collaborative reflection—into a single, integrative experience that activates the brain’s social engagement system, fosters co-regulation, and cultivates narrative coherence. Across all styles of play, the dominant brain state is one of safe connection and reflective integration, engaging the prefrontal cortex and calming the amygdala to allow empathy, perspective-taking, and meaning-making to flourish.”
